Please help me decide

My beautiful sofa.
Now that I've had my new sofa for a couple of weeks, I'm loving it more and more. I still find myself sitting right in the middle of it, which makes the center of the cushion dip down. In order to get rid of the dip, I folded up and old blanket that I keep trying to get rid of (but somehow keeps finding its way back in here), and put it under the center of the cushion.  That helped keep the center from dipping.

But that's not what I need your help with...  What I'm thinking about is adding some nailhead trim to it to make it more custom. This is kind of what I think it would look like, except with green fabric, of course, instead of dark brown.

I would use this kind of nailhead trim in the picture below rather than nailing every single nail in a bronze color. I think this would give the look I want without having to do as much nailing and it would be easier to remove later on if I change my mind. I just think this trim would make it a lot easier, because doing individual nails would take forever on my sofa!

Here's another picture with lighter fabric that shows what I'm thinking of a little better, only couch size, instead of chair size. I don't know if you can tell, but the nailheads go all along the bottom and up and around the arms. That's what I'm thinking about doing with my new sofa.

In some respects, my sofa is already considered custom, because I didn't go with the standard fabric. We had it upholstered in Corey Herb because I wanted a green sofa instead of an off-white beige one. With two fur-babies, a light colored sofa would not work!

Can you imagine the nailtrim on it?
The nails would go all along the bottom, then up and around the arms and along the back. I think it would highlight the shape of the sofa a little more and add something a little more special to it.  But I'm just not sure...

So what do you think?  Should I add some nailhead trim to make it even more unique?

Sounds adventurous. Go for it, you know you can do it!

I'm still thinking about it.  Right now the cost of the nailhead trim is stopping me.  Not that I can't afford it, I'm just not sure I want to pay that much for it!  But I'm really leaning towards doing it anyways.
