I decided I wanted to see what my kitchen would look like with a chandelier above the sink...
Well this is how it will look. I'm not so sure I like it. What do you think?
Since I'm not sure I like the crystal chandelier, I thought I'd try some other options.
So help me out... Which is your favorite?

Hi Loribeth, I love the idea of a chandelier! Maybe a sheer or simple pull back curtain instead of a valance would open up the center of you window to showcase your chandelier. Maybe even raising it a bit. Your very creative with your decorating. I love finding new ways to decorate by using things in unique ways. Goodluck!
I think Melinda is right, it was the cut off line created by the valance that makes it not look so good. I like either the chandelier or a lantern.
I don't really like the chandelier in that area. It is hard to describe but i think there is too much going on already ( with the window, the valance, the clock and so on) and the chandelier seems out of place to me, moreover i am not sure about the crystals, they seem to clash with the style of your kitchen. I like the third option the best, it looks balanced and calm. How about a small lamp there and a large chandelier above the dinner table?
I like the last one. The oval pendant drop is so attractive.
